RACQ CareFlight airlifted a 39 year old woman with a head injury after falling from a horse at a property near Rosewood yesterday (March 13).
The RACQ CareFlight crew landed on site at Mount Walker, where the Queensland Ambulance Service team already at the scene. The woman was in a critical but stable condition.
The CareFlight doctor and QAS paramedic on board the CareFlight Bell 412 helicopter treated the woman en route to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
RACQ CareFlight is a medical and rescue helicopter service on stand-by 24 hours a day for people who are sick or injured in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.
