On Saturday RACQ CareFlight was called out on a winch mission to assist a 30 year old woman who fractured her ankle on the Border Track between Binna Burra & O’Reilly's.
The patient was winched from the track and assessed by the CareFlight medical team. She was then airlifted to Binna Burra in a stable condition. Her partner drove her to hospital.
RACQ CareFlight is a medical and rescue helicopter service on stand-by 24 hours a day for people who are sick or injured in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.
