A 21-year-old Toowoomba man was airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter following a jet ski accident on the Gold Coast Seaway on ANZAC Day. 

RACQ CareFlight Rescue Air Crewman Matt O’Rourke said the man came off his jet ski, suffering a suspected spinal injury.  

“Our CareFlight doctor stabilised the patient at the scene for flight. He was then airlifted to the Gold Coast Hospital in a stable condition,” he said.
