About CareFlight Group Queensland
Collectively representing one of Australia’s largest air medical retrieval operations, the CareFlight Group Queensland provides treatment to thousands of people each year, both domestically and internationally.
The Group’s core business is RACQ CareFlight, a not-for-profit community helicopter service. The financial stability of this core business is reinforced by a number of commercial arms.
The organisation integrates its own full-time critical care doctors, air crews, dedicated medical helicopters and jets to reduce response times, significantly improving patient outcomes.
CareFlight Group Queensland utilises a workforce of more than 350 employees and is a Registered Training Organisation, holding both fixed and rotary wing Air Operator Certificates. This enables the provision of specialist medical and aviation training and consultancy to government and commercial sectors internationally as well as domestically.
CareFlight Group Queensland has four diverse divisions; RACQ CareFlight , CareFlight Medical Services , CMS Air Ambulance and CareFlight Training Services .
