Training & Education Qualifications

Through a partnership with the Corporate Learning Institute of Australia (CLIA), CareFlight Training Services (CTS) is pleased to offer the new Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110, from the Training and Education Training Package.

This course is the required national qualification for anyone who wishes to pursue a career as a trainer or assessor in the vocational education and training sector in Australia.

This course aims to provide the skills and knowledge required to work competently as:

• An Enterprise Trainer
• An Enterprise Assessor
• A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Trainer
• A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Assessor
• A Training Advisor or Training Needs Analyst
• A Vocational Education Teacher

Achievement of this qualification is a requirement of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) for any person who wants to train and assess nationally recognised qualifications.

The course includes important background information, aviation theory and skill development in a range of aviation operations.

Theoretical and Practical subjects include:

• Designing and Developing Learning Programs
• Understanding and Using Training Packages
• Planning and organising training for groups and in the
• Planning and Designing Assessment
• Conducting Assessments
