Driver trapped in wreckage for two hours

The RACQ CareFlight helicopter (Toowoomba) was tasked to a two vehicle accident on the Warrego Highway, 20km east of Miles.

A 48-yr-old female, from Brisbane, was still trapped in her vehicle when the chopper landed at the accident scene.
 
Air Crewman Peter Mellor said the patient had been trapped for almost two hours by her arm.

"The lady suffered multiple fractures to her right arm and was airlifted to the PA Hospital in a stable condition," said Mr Mellor.
