Building site fall

The RACQ CareFlight helicopter (Toowoomba) has been tasked to Kilcoy where a man has fallen from scaffolding on a construction site.

Air Crewman Lee Aynsley said the 58-yr-old has a badly fractured right femur.

"We have been told that he fell about an a metre and a half and landed awkwardly breaking his leg on impact," he said.

The patient will be transported to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment.
