Hang glider crash lands

The RACQ CareFlight rescue helicopter has been tasked to Rosins Lookout at Beechmont to airlift a hang glider who had crash landed.

RACQ CareFlight Air Crewman Troy Crook said the 35-yr-old male crashed straight after takeoff.

"The patient suffered some internal injuries because he landed quite hard on the road," he said.

“He suffered chest, back and abdominal injuries.”

"Our paramedic treated the patient on-site before airlifting him to the PA Hospital in Brisbane in a serious but stable condition."
