Motorbike rider unconscious on arrival

The RACQ CareFlight helicopter has been tasked to the scnee of a serious motorbike accident at Tabragalba, near Beaudesert, this afternoon.

A 47 year old man was treated on-site by CareFlight's medical before being airlifted to the PA hospital in Brsiabne.

Air Crewman Ryan Purchse said the man was heading west on the Nerang Beaudesert Road when he came of his bike suffering suspected head injuries.

"It appears the peg on the man's motorbike has clipped the road and flipped him off the bike," he said.

"He was unconscious when CareFlight arrived but our Paramedic stabilised the patient before he was airlifted."
