RACQ CareFlight continues Queensland flood rescues

Last night around 6pm, an RACQ CareFlight helicopter airlifted a critically ill man from Stanthorpe Hospital to Toowoomba Hospital, with roads cut off by flood waters in the Stanthorpe area.

The man was suffering from severe septicaemia and was in a critical condition when airlifted. He was expected to be treated in Toowoomba Hospital’s ICU.

Around 6am today an RACQ Careflight helicopter was tasked Dalby to treat and airlift a 62-year-old man suffering from chest pain and shortness of breath.

Around 9.30am today a second RACQ CareFlight helicopter airlifted an 81-year-old woman with a cardiac condition from Warwick to Brisbane. She was airlifted from Warwick Hospital to the Royal Brisbane Hospital helipad, and then onto St Andrew’s Private Hospital by road.
