Terrible tubing accident
The RACQ CareFlight helicopter (Toowoomba) has been tasked to Lake Moogerah to airlift a 20 year old female who sustained serious spinal injuries in a tubing accident.
The patient was being towed in the tube by a speed boat when she has fallen off, sustaining the spinal injury.
The CareFlight paramedic administered medical attention on-site but the woman had no sensation from the neck down. She was airlifted to the PA Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
