Tourist found unconscious in water
The RACQ CareFlight rescue helicopter has been tasked to Tangalooma Resort to airlift a 30-yr-old female who was found unconscious while snorkeling.
Air Crewman Troy Crook said the Taiwanese tourist was snorkeling about 50 metres off the beach when she got into trouble.
"A group of people in a passing boat found her unconscious in the water," he said.
The group performed CPR and brought the female back to shore where she received further treatment.
The 30-yr-old was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
